GONE TO SEED DRYAS A mat-forming shrub with coarse, oblong leaves. The top side bluish-green and the underside silvery from hairs. A pioneering species can be found on river bars and disturbed areas. Blooms in June with a yellow, nodding flower which looks like a dandelion when gone to seed. Found at Dan Creek in Wrangell St. Elias National Park, Alaska.
