Yellow Anemone. The right place at the right time. Just happened on this Anemone when the sun was highlighting the yellow flower and the background was dark. These early spring flowers are of the Crowfoot family and bloom from early June to mid-July. Usually found in moist woods near streams and alpine meadows in most of Alaska. Photo taken along Chongs creek near Dan Creek in Wrangell St. Elias National Park, Alaska.
