Monkshood of the buttercup family, found in woodlands, meadows, and mid-alpine areas over most of Alaska. Blooms July and August and is a tall slender plant, 2-to 4 feet tall. Flowers range from light blue to navy blue. A poisonous plant, DO NOT EAT.
